On the first day of South Kashmir Sports Festival which is being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police, four matches of Volley ball, two matches of Kho Kho and six matches of Cosco ball cricket were played at Government Degree College Ground today.
In Volley Ball, the matches were played between GHSS Anantnag and GHSS Achabal, Government Degree College Anantnag and Achabal Club, Y Sports TB Shah and Wanpow, Furrah Club and Gopalpora. GHSS Anantnag, Government Degree College Anantnag, Y Sports TB Shah and Furrah Club won the matches.
In Kho Kho, the matches were played between CHS Anantnag and GHSS Anantnag, GHS Khanabal and GHSS Bijbehara. The matches were won by GHSS Anantnag and GHS Khanabal.
In Cosco cricket, the matches were played between South Kashmir Sports KBL and Friends XI DK Pora, Gopalpora Pora Sports and Furrah Sports, GHSS Kadipora and GHSS Anantnag, GHSS Nanil and GHSS Dialgam, GHSS Mattan and GHSS Kehribal, ZCC Club and SB Sarnal. The matches were won by South Kashmir Sports KBL, Furrah Sports, GHSS Kadipora, GHSS Dialgam, GHSS Mattan and ZCC Club.
